Bei einem Kälte- oder Klimaprojekt entscheidet die Abstimmung zwischen den Gewerken oft darüber, wie zuverlässig und wie effizient die Anlage später läuft.

Lüftung, Elektrik, Wasserkreisläufe, Brandschutz, Steuerung und Genehmigungen lassen sich nicht unabhängig voneinander betrachten. Schwierigkeiten entstehen meist an den Übergängen. Informationen fehlen, Zuständigkeiten sind unklar oder eine Änderung wirkt sich gleich auf mehrere Gewerke aus.

Gemeinsam mit Heidinger begleiten wir Kälteprojekte deshalb durchgängig. Von der Aufnahme der Anforderungen über Planung und Auslegung bis zu Montage, Inbetriebnahme und Einweisung des Betriebspersonals. Selbstverständlich wird auch eine mögliche staatliche Förderung geprüft und die Antragsunterlagen für die Förderung erstellt.

Heidinger verfügt dafür über eigene Planung, eigenen Anlagenbau, eigenen Schaltschrankbau und erfahrene Montageteams. Diese durchgängige Betreuung sorgt für kurze Abstimmungswege und dafür, dass Energieeffizienz und Wärmerückgewinnung von Anfang an mitgeplant werden. Das senkt später die Betriebskosten.

Für den Kunden bleibt vor allem ein Ansprechpartner, der den Zusammenhang des gesamten Projekts kennt.

EN 388 does not tell you whether a glove works day to day

EN 388 is an important starting point when choosing safety gloves. On its own, it is not enough for everyday work.

A glove can meet the required protection class and still be unsuitable in practice. It may be too stiff for small components. It may get too warm over a long shift. It may lack the grip needed on oily surfaces. Or the available sizes may not fit the hands on the team.

Where people are reluctant to wear a glove, even the best cut protection class helps very little.

Protection and practical use therefore belong together. The right safety glove does more than guard against one specific hazard. It also suits the task, the surroundings and the people who work in it every day.

The requirement first, the product second

In technical procurement, the conversation often turns to specific products too early and to the actual requirement too late.

Yet quite different questions are settled at the outset: what should run better in the plant? What capacity is genuinely needed? Which existing equipment has to be integrated? What are the constraints on space, energy consumption and operation? And who coordinates the work with the manufacturer?

These questions arise for an extrusion line just as they do for a refrigeration plant or for the choice of safety gloves.

Our role at ES is to treat technical purchasing as a shared process. We establish the requirement together with the customer, agree the right solution with the respective manufacturer and stay available for the steps that follow.

Single-screw extruder for halogen-free thermoplastics

We are glad to represent Bernhard Ide GmbH & Co. KG and their extrusion technology.

The single-screw extruder shown here processes halogen-free thermoplastics at around 80 kg/h, runs efficiently and is designed to be integrated into an existing extrusion line. For use in the electrical industry, Ide configured the ME 75/5 × 25 D type for halogen-free thermoplastics.

The right chiller alone does not save energy

A chiller can be correctly sized in isolation and still consume more energy than necessary within the wider system. Because it is not only the machine that decides. Pumps, ventilation, water circuits, buffers, consumers and controls all shape how efficiently and reliably a plant runs.

Typical problems arise when these areas are planned separately or controlled to different logics. Pumps then run longer than needed, temperatures do not match, or available waste heat goes unused.

Heidinger therefore looks not only at the refrigeration unit but at how the whole plant works together. The decisive question is not only which chiller is needed. Just as important: how must the entire system operate so that it matches what the business actually requires?

Depending on the plant, refrigerant, application, efficiency gain and company size, state funding may be available for such energy projects. Heidinger identifies suitable funding programmes, supports the application and takes the relevant conditions into account during the technical planning stage.

Cleanrooms to ISO 14644-1, turnkey

Stable cleanroom conditions are indispensable for precision and safety in manufacturing and analysis. The classes defined in ISO 14644-1 set the permissible particle concentration per cubic metre of air. At ISO 5 that is no more than 3,600 fine particles above 0.5 μm.

The Exobox moves the plant room outside

With the Heidinger Exobox, built in the company's own container yard at the Mühlacker site in Baden-Württemberg, the most important customer request can be met: integrating new refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems far faster and more cheaply, including the complete pump periphery as well as control and regulation technology. Modular and tailored to each customer.

Housing the plant externally in the Exobox frees up space, and it solves most safety issues neatly, particularly where natural refrigerants are involved. For retrofitting existing buildings in particular, that is a genuine game changer.

When the grip is missing, every box becomes a risk

Too stiff, too warm or too little hold: the wrong work glove makes safe gripping harder, strains the hands and often ends up not being worn at all.

The result: boxes slip more easily, work slows down, and protection does not work in practice the way it should.

Two co-extruders as a synchronised tandem

Anyone investigating multi-layer structures in material or process development knows the time sink: retooling, realigning and then getting the process to run stably again.

For trials like these we built two MEB 30 × 30D co-extruders as a synchronised tandem, an affordable way to add co-extruders flexibly to existing lines.

The machines move freely on castors and can be positioned precisely at the line. A motorised height adjustment adapts them quickly to the required extrusion height. Synchronisation and recipe management are built in, and process control runs on a stand-alone Siemens HMI. Even in tandem operation, the parameters of both machines can be stored and recalled reproducibly at any time.

The result: trial series and production runs are quicker to prepare, process parameters reproduce reliably and set-up times drop. This makes the machines suitable for research and development, material development and application-oriented trials in plastics extrusion, or as colour stripe extruders in production.

The most expensive glove is the one left unused on the shelf
